This rib refuses to exist as proof of origin, appearing instead as a deviation from the mythic point of beginning. Within my mythological narrative, after millions of years, the bone develops an opal-like fossilized surface and emerges as a relic understood as the remains of a meteor. This surface is treated as a material record rather than ornament, holding pressure, sedimentation, and time, and linking geological processes to cosmic circulation. As such, the object guides the protagonist into a journey that loops back on itself, forming a closed trajectory rather than a linear origin, like an ouroboros. A boning knife grows from within, altering how the body is read, shifting it from lack toward extension. Placed beside it, a key marks an unnamed exit outside the myth.
