Komodo dragon's three-eyed structure draws from the parietal eye found in real lizards, an organ that senses light, heat, and temporal change rather than producing vision. Within Ghost Home, this mode of perception aligns with invisible fire and gradual deformation, registering accumulation. The object takes the form of a spiral staircase handrail and a candelabrum, furniture typically associated with movement and illumination. Within Ghost Home, form shifts while function remains expected. Invisible fire names the unacknowledged energy and depletion embedded in this condition. The structure appears fatigued and misaligned, unable to fully support passage or light, yet still occupying its assigned role.
